Maison LUNE
A quieter idea of luxury
LUNE began with a simple conviction: that modesty and modernity are not opposites. We make abayas, kaftans and matching sets for the woman who wants to be covered and considered in equal measure.

The beginning
Born of a wardrobe that never quite existed
We looked for abayas that felt like the rest of our lives — clean, architectural, unbothered by trend — and found very little. So we made them. LUNE is the answer to a wardrobe that never quite existed: modest dress drawn with the restraint of a tailoring atelier.
Everything starts with the silhouette. A single seam moved a centimetre, a sleeve given room to fall, a hem weighted to hang true. We design slowly, because the pieces that last are rarely the ones made in a hurry.
Our discipline
Considered design, timeless monochrome
We work almost entirely in a monochrome palette — bone, ink, the greys between. It is a discipline, not a limitation. Without colour to lean on, a garment has nowhere to hide: the cut, the cloth and the fall of a fabric are all that remain, and all that matter.
Our fabrics are chosen for weight and drape before anything else, and finished so the inside is as resolved as the outside. Nothing is decorative for its own sake. If a detail does not earn its place, it is removed.

The intention
Made to be worn, and re-worn
A LUNE piece is not made for a single season. It is made to be reached for again and again — layered, re-styled, carried from one year into the next. We would rather you owned a few things you love than a great many you forget.
That is our idea of luxury: not excess, but permanence. Clothes quiet enough to disappear, and considered enough to keep.
Because classy is the new fabulous.
